Summer Program in Israel
An ancient crossroads of diverse cultures and religions with a rich political history, Israel is the backdrop of Regent's summer program where students study current issues of international law as they apply to the modern state of Israel and compare and contrast the Biblical and Qur'anic concepts of war.
Students visit the Supreme Court of Israel, the Knesset and a military court in the West Bank, as well as swim in the Dead Sea, enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee and observe Shabbat prayers at the Western Wall.
The program will run from May 18 through June 6, 2012, in Jerusalem and Tiberias, Israel, and includes tours of northern and central Israel.
Regent University School of Law invites participants from other schools to enroll in the program. All participating students must understand and respect that courses, program activities, and group conduct reflect the program's commitment to a Christian worldview.
