Law Library Databases A-Z

All Law Library Databases

HeinOnline

HeinOnline provides both searchable OCR full-text and PDF images of a vast variety of legal sources.  Each component is organized by libraries as below described. Documents can be located by citation, by date, by keyword, or by browsing.

HeinOnline Law Journal Library

The HeinOnline Law Journal Library provides full-text access to a substantial collection of law reviews and legal journals.  Coverage begins with the first volume of the periodical, proving an excellent source for locating older articles.  Documents may be located by citation, by author and title, or by browsing.  Because the user can select either a PDF version or a text version of an article, this database is particularly useful for law review and journal members working on cite-checks, professors, and other researchers who need to access the original source.

HeinOnline Federal Register Library

The HeinOnline Federal Register Library provides the content of volumes 1 to current of the Federal Register.   It also has the Code of Federal Regulations, List of Sections Affected, and Compilation of Sections Affected.  There is also the United States Government Manual.  Availability of years may vary.

HeinOnline Treaties and Agreements Library

The HeinOnline Treaties and Agreements Library includes the International Legal Materials; KAV Agreements; Treaties and International Act Series (TIAS); Treaties and Other International Agreements of the United States of America 1776-1949; Treaties in Force and Guide to Treaties in Force; and United States Treaties and Other International Agreements.  There are also guides, indexes, treatises, books and texts about treaties.

HeinOnline U.S. Presidential Library

HeinOnline U.S. Federal Legislative History Library

The HeinOnline U.S. Federal Legislative History Library includes selected legislative histories of significant consequence as well as an index of legislative histories with links to their respective acts.  The sources for these compilations include congressional documents, legal periodicals, treatises and loose-leaf services.
