Regent Law School requires a minimum TOEFL test score of 600 (paper); 250 (computer); or 100 (internet).  Alternatively, prospective law students may submit evidence of their English proficiency by testing with PTE Academic®.  Information on PTE Academic may be found here as well as consulting their website.  Minimum test score for the PTE is 68 (internet). Please note that standards are higher for prospective law students than for other Regent University graduate students.

However, if you completed at least two years of study and have an earned undergraduate or graduate degree from an American or British University, you may request a TOEFL or PTE waiver from the Director of Admissions.  If you have additional questions concerning your Law School Application, please contact Marie Markham at marima4@regent.edu.

Financial Aid for International Students

The Regent University School of Law is committed to assisting every international student enrolled in a Regent Law School program through institutional scholarship. The amount of scholarship is determined on a per student basis that takes into consideration the student’s academic profile, leadership and employment experience, and other financial assistance. Students must be accepted to the law school prior to a scholarship decision.  Students will be notified of a scholarship decision via email within two weeks after acceptance.

Scholarship funds are applicable only toward law school tuition. Other cost-of-attendance expenses (room, board, fees, personal, travel, and health insurance) must be covered through funds secured by the student.  For further assistance, please visit www.regent.edu/admin/finaid/international.cfm. new window
