I am pleased you are applying for admission to Regent University School of Law as a member of our entering class.

As you likely know, our program is accredited by the American Bar Association and is designed to provide a thorough grounding in the substantive and skill areas of the law. Yet, our program is distinctive in that we equip and encourage students to integrate their professional training with the principles central to the Christian faith. Our graduates are well-prepared to pursue a breadth of career options following graduation and to serve as “salt and light” within the legal profession and within their communities.

Our admissions committee will render a decision approximately two weeks after file completion, beginning in early January.  We will give attention to your college-level academic performance, score results on the Law School Admission Test, writing skills, non-quantitative indicators of academic ability, and responses to the Regent-specific topics in the personal statement. Also, we will carefully review your resume and letters of recommendation. It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure that all letters of recommendation and the LSDAS report have been received in the Office of Admissions. Please be thorough and responsive to Regent's specific essay topics.

The Admissions Office staff welcomes contact with you. You may phone or email us with any questions you have regarding the application process, financial aid or any other topics of concern to you. Please schedule a visit to campus, coordinating your schedule with the many open house dates throughout the fall and spring terms.

Sincerely,

Bonnie Creef
Director of Admissions & Financial Aid
