Judicial/Governmental Externships
The information on this site is meant to inform Regent Law students of the externship opportunities available to them as well as the procedures to apply for externships.
Externships expose students to, and acquaint them with, the reality of law practice; provide opportunities for students to engage in proper legal research and writing in the context of real-life legal problems; and allow students to pursue in-depth substantive learning in specific areas of the law. Students perform legal work under the immediate supervision of an on-site attorney with faculty oversight, and for which the student earns 1 academic credit (after paying the tuition for the course/placement) for each 60 hours of work.
