| Lifelong Dream
I graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a degree in Business Management. I have had a lifelong dream of working in government, however, and the Robertson School of Government was the right place for me to study at the graduate level.
Fulfilling Life Callings
I am taking the public policy track, which places great emphasis on the research skills needed to influence policy decisions. The professors at RSG are eminently qualified, possessing a valuable mix of high academic standing and impressive achievement in the workings of government. The faculty also plays an active role in helping students to fulfill their life callings.
Opportunities of a Lifetime
Studying at RSG has given me some tremendous opportunities to interact with individuals who have made a difference in government. I have had the chance to meet and converse with Lt. Col. Oliver North, Admiral Vernon Clark, Attorney General John Ashcroft, and Dr. Jay Sekulow from the ACLJ. In the summer of 2006, I had an opportunity to travel with 30 Regent students to spend a month studying on the campus of the University of Oxford.
Living Based on God’s Truth
My goal is to make a difference in the legislative arena, and RSG is providing me the skills to navigate such a difficult environment. Most of all, I appreciate Regent’s commitment to instilling a Biblical worldview, regardless of the academic discipline. In each class, we are challenged to see all issues through a Biblical lens. I am thankful to be at a school that remains anchored to God’s truth. |
