On May 6, 2006 Regent graduated its largest class ever. The Class of 2006 marked Regent's 10,000th degree awarded since its founding. Congratulations to the class of 2006!

The Robertson School of Government honors Reagan’s birthday as they host the first symposium ever. Nine of the nation’s leading conservative thinkers gathered to discuss these important questions: What is conservatism? Is the Regan Revolution Still Alive? What will the Future of Conservatism look like?

On October 21st, Regent hosted our third annual Clash of the titans™ debate. Newt Gingrich, Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North, General Wesley Clark and Paul Begala debated over the question, “Is the Bush strategy working in Iraq?”

NBC News and MSNBC anchor Forrest Sawyer moderates a debate tackling the question, “Is the Bush strategy working in Iraq?” On the right, Newt Gingrich and Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North support the strategy.  On the left, General Wesley Clark and Paul Begala argue against the strategy.

On October 22, Regent’s second Clash of the Titans ™ will host a debate between former presidential candidates Bob Dole and Al Gore. The debate will focus on the issues leading up to the November 2nd election debate, “Election 2004: What is at stake for America?”
