What is Blackboard and,
as a student, am I required to use it?
Blackboard is an online platform used to communicate via the
internet in the education environment. The RSG professors utilize
this tool in varying degrees. All students whether distance
or on campus, may be asked to use it to participate in online
discussions, view assignments/syllabi, post papers, communicate
with peers, etc.
Who do I contact
for questions concerning Blackboard?
Questions regarding Blackboard may be directed to the Manager of Curriculum and Student Services at 757-226-4591.
As an RSG student, how
do I post my profile on the website?
If you are interested in placing your profile on the website,
you may e-mail RSGweb@regent.edu.
In response, you will receive an e-mail stating the needed materials.
Where do Regent Students
live?
Many of the RSG students live in the Regent Village, a university-owned
apartment complex about a mile from the school. Space in this
housing is limited, and you should apply as early as possible.
