ADMINISTRATION
RSG has recently undergone several significant changes in its administration. In August 2004, we welcomed Dr. Charles W. Dunn as our new Dean of students and Mr. Jim Davids, most recently a joint law and government professor for Regent, accepted the position of Assistant Dean for Administration in RSG.

Dr. Dunn brings with him the experience of author and educator. He comes to us from Grove City College, where he was the Dean of International Studies, Graduate Advancement and Faculty Development. From 1972 to 1999, Dr. Dunn served as a political science professor and department chair at Clemson University. He then became the Dean of the Alva J. Calderwood School of Arts and Letters. Dr. Dunn is working on his ninth book, The Seven Laws of Presidential Leadership, to be published by Prentice Hall.
Jim Davids joined Regent University in 2003 after practicing law in Chicago for 25 years, and then serving in the Bush administration as Deputy Director and Counsel of the Department of Justice’s Task Force for the Faith-Based & Community Initiative. As Deputy Director, Jim provided guidance on constitutional issues to the White House and the other departmental Offices of Faith-Based & Community Initiatives. Jim is presently the President of the Christian Legal Society, which is the oldest and largest organization of Christian attorneys in the United States, and for which he previously served as Legislative Counsel advocating on Capitol Hill for religious liberty and pro-life legislation.
