The Robertson School of Government selects applicants
from various backgrounds. We look for students with the potential
to be successful leaders exhibiting high moral standards, motivation,

We assess applicants in these areas:
Academic
Excellence
The committee assesses academic
performance and seeks candidates with a history of intellectual
ability.
Personal Integrity
The committee looks for individuals
with a strong sense of integrity who have proven themselves
in their personal and professional lives, exhibiting the will
and ability to be a leader in their community.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree
from an accredited institution.
RSG requires a 3.0 minimum GPA from your awarded
undergraduate and/or graduate institution. The mean GPA of our
recent incoming class was 3.29 on a 4.0 scale.
The Robertson School of Government requires the GRE or LSAT (for joint law/government students). RSG looks favorably upon applicants who score in the top 50th percentile on the GRE or 147 or higher on the LSAT. Under special circumstances the GRE may be waived. Regent University encourages diversity and
appreciates the special contributions that principled, international
students bring to a graduate institution of learning. International
students applying to RSG must complete a few additional application
requirements. In addition to the GRE or LSAT, international
students whose primary language is not English must take the
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
