Almost all Schools of Government require that applicants take the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) for two reasons: (1) to assist in making financial aid decisions; and (2) to assess student prospects for academic success. Normally, therefore, all applicants should submit GRE scores to enhance timely and favorable action on their applications. Sometimes, however, RSG applicants may petition to waive the GRE requirements if they consider their applications worthy of favorable consideration without a GRE score. Applicants who wish to petition that they not take the GRE are asked to contact the Admissions Manager, Lisa Olson. |
