Naomi, Justin and Joseph
My name is Justin Eastwood. I recently earned a Master of Arts degree in Public Policy at the Robertson School of Government. I also served as a Research Fellow in the Center for Grassroots Politics. I lived at the Regent Village, near the Virginia Beach Campus, with my wife Naomi and son Joseph.
Living at The Village had many advantages, among them the close access to resources at the university and connectivity with the Regent University students, staff, and faculty. In addition to the blessing of Christian fellowship among the Regent community, the Robertson School of Government offers a strong academic program.

Three strengths of the academic program are the unwavering integration of a Biblical worldview, the rigorous intellectual training in the courses, and the emphasis on solving critical problems in policy, administration, and campaigns. The Biblical and philosophical principles are primary because they support all the analytical and quantitative work done in the future by the students. The Robertson School of Government first teaches students how to think God’s thoughts after Him so they may then present solutions to social and political issues that glorify Him.

The faculty of the Robertson School of Government truly have a heart for service to the students and give individual attention to those who seek their help. Each professor considers teaching and discipleship as part of their calling from God. It is not merely their job. The staff is also dedicated to helping students achieve their academic and career goals. I attest to a deep camaraderie among the students as we undergo this training for our respective callings.
