RSG assigns a faculty advisor and an administrative advisor to each incoming student.

Faculty Advisors

• Faculty advisors provide academic, career and personal guidance to students during their graduate program.
• Students must obtain the approval of their faculty advisor and Dean of RSG on the Individual Study Form for the following academic experiences:
• Independent Study
• Internship
• Professional portfolio/project
• Thesis

Administrative Advisors

• It is the student’s responsibility to meet the requirements of the degree as defined in the student’s approved degree program.
• The RSG Office of Student Services provides advising in the following areas:
• Course schedules and registration
• Culminating Experience registration and final processing
• Approved Degree Plans
• Academic Petitions
• Credit Transfers
• Processing of academic forms
• Academic Probation
• Understanding degree requirements
• Graduation clearance
