In order to graduate or participate in commencement, RSG students are required to pass the University Library’s noncredit online Information Research and Resources Course.

• The course teaches basic competencies in the use of computer and related information technology research and resources, including use of the library.
• Students who demonstrate proficiency in the competencies, by passing the online challenge test, will not be required to take the course.

• Students should complete this requirement during the first term of enrollment either through the challenge test or by completing and passing the research course.
• If they do not, a grade of NP will be assigned and they will be automatically enrolled in the course in the second term.
