The Public Administration concentration focuses on developing the essential character, administrative and analytical competencies for successfully managing public and nonprofit organizations from a Christian servant leader foundation.  The goal is to equip students for critical roles in public service in order to solve policy and management problems and provide high quality services thereby promoting the public interest from a Christian worldview perspective.  Specific skill areas targeted include managing human, fiscal and information resources, cultivating organizational abilities, the sage integration of political theory and philosophy and a strong moral and ethical foundation.  This concentration provides both academic preparation and practical training to equip students for successful careers in government/nonprofit organizations and to enhance the career development of current professionals.
