Making Mathematics Relevant to Students' World

Jun 25-26
9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Have your mathematics students (or you) ever wondered: When am I ever going to use this? Join us for a two-day workshop where we will explore authentic situations to develop engaging mathematics! You will leave with at least one developed unit that incorporates some or all of the NCTM Process Standards: Problem Solving, Reasoning and Proof, Communication, Connections, and Representations. Since no unit would be complete without assessment, the second day of this workshop will focus on assessment methods with particular emphasis on rubric development. Come with your thinking caps on and ready for some math fun! REGISTRATION FULL
