Integration of Reading Skill Instruction in Children's Literature

Participants in this course will review children's literature that is used to teach specific reading skills across the curriculum. Students will explore various instructional techniques in order to differentiate reading instruction in the classroom and build background knowledge from a wide range of topics. Also addressed in the course will be the use of various genres to motivate students to become independent learners through reading and writing. Register Now

  • Create activities through song to memorize math
  • Earn 10 license renewal points
  • Earn 1 graduate credit (30 license renewal points) through the School of Education for a reduced tuition of $200
