Using Writing Strategies to Infuse Relevance and Rigor into Social Studies Instruction

Participants will explore a wide range of writing strategies that can be integrated into social studies instruction. Using both fiction and nonfiction resources, members of the class will experience lessons that provide relevance and rigor to social studies instruction and help students develop an understanding of the big ideas that have shaped our past (Open to K-5 teachers) Register Now
