Creating challenging, engaging, and authentic science experiences is necessary if we are to produce life-long learners. This course will create an online, professional learning community focused on examining current research regarding best practices for teaching science. Topics of discussion will focus on informal science education, designing investigations, assessment, and the use of technology in the science classroom. Teachers will also share ideas and strategies they learned from the VAST conference.
