Christine (Christy) Schuette, B.A., M.Ed., Ph.D.
Before joining us as a full-time faculty member, Dr. Schuette served as an adjunct at Regent for three years. Prior to that, she also served as an adjunct, primarily teaching courses in Human Development and Psychology, at several other institutions (Hawaii Pacific University, and California State University at Monterey Bay). Dr. Schuette also began serving as the Director of Internship Experiences this past year, after spending several semesters supervising student teachers.
Dr. Schuette received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Virginia in 1994, her M.Ed. from the University of Maryland in College Park in Human Development in 1996, and her Ph.D. from the University of Maryland at College Park in 1999. Her primary area of research is the social and moral development of young children. Dr. Schuette's dissertation was on the development of gender stereotypes about family roles.
