The M.Ed. in Special Education program provided me with a solid foundation on how to teach students with unique challenges, and to positively impact their ability to perform inside the classroom. I was equipped with critical thinking skills needed to strategically implement and assess fresh and creative ways to approach instruction and learning. I received consistent encouragement from my professors and cohort to push beyond my personal best in research and daily practice.
During my time at Regent, I not only experienced academic growth but also a renewed sense of purpose in who God has created me to be. My participation in on-campus chapels, pre-lecture devotions, and online fellowship reaffirmed and reignited my passion to further my career in education. Now teaching is not just a profession for me but an act of service to a new generation of world changers.
