Prior to working in higher education, I was serving in pastoral ministry as a church planter. After a number of years in this capacity, I began to feel the Lord tugging at my heart to pursue a ministry among college students. I looked to Regent University's M.Ed. in Student Affairs to help open this door.
My time in the Student Affairs program at Regent University was immeasurably valuable. It was there that I first began to develop a lens that would allow me to view this profession in relation to my faith.
I found my time at Regent University to be excellent preparation for the various student affairs roles I have served in over the past few years, and in particular, the program really helped me understand the unique landscape of Christian higher education. I feel better prepared to contribute to Life Pacific College's distinct mission and purpose because of my time spent at Regent. I also just began the Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership & Management here at Regent University in 2014.
