Computer Standards
Registered students may use the Regent University computer labs on campus for course work. However, students who choose to use their home computer or laptop rather than the computer labs on campus, and all Online Learning students must meet the following minimum standards regarding hardware, software and Internet access, in order to take courses from the School of Divinity.
Regent Systems Tutorials
Tutorials for common tasks students may need to accomplish while enrolled in the School of Divinity. They are provided to assist students in gaining the required proficiency with applications used by the School, including Blackboard™, Horizon Wimba, Genisys and webmail.
Blackboard™ ![]()
Blackboard™ is an Internet-based communication platform, which provides students with an online learning community. Students are able to download course content (including articles, streaming audio and video, and presentations) and interact with their professors and classmates through the discussion board and the chat/virtual classroom.

MyRegent Portal

A 'one log-in' portal for all student systems; Blackboard™, Genisys and webmail, web calendar and much more. The academics tab allows students to see advising information, course schedule, and outstanding balance information (if applicable).
Online Email Access (OWA) ![]()
Link to Regent University's online email management application (Outlook Web Access) where you can send/receive email, change email forwarding options, and set vacation messages. All students' official email is sent to your '@regent.edu' address, so check this email often.
