Information for Newly Accepted Students
Welcome to the School of Divinity! As you begin your studies, you will quickly discover the tremendous opportunities for learning, networking and most importantly, continued spiritual growth. The pursuit of higher education is a path many have taken toward the fulfillment of God's calling and requires both diligence and stewardship.
The following graphic is provided to help new students understand the registration process so that each student can get off to a strong start in the School of Divinity.
Acceptance Letter & Welcome Email
Once you are accepted to the School of Divinity, You receive a welcome email and an Acceptance Letter in mail informing you about it. Read it carefully because it contains important admissions information.
Enrollment Agreement Form and Enrollment Deposit
Submit the required Enrollment Agreement Form and Enrollment Deposit. To officially accept your offer of admission, please complete the online Enrollment Agreement Form. You may choose to pay your enrollment deposit online or by mail. The enrollment deposit will activate your student account and will be applied to your first tuition bill. Once your deposit is received, you will receive access to Regent online accounts and important registration information, so please be sure to send the deposit immediately upon receipt of your acceptance package.
US Citizens: will pay an enrollment deposit of $50.
International Students: are required to submit a $5,500 deposit to cover the enrollment deposit and an emergency fund. The I-20 will not be issued until this deposit is received. Also, international students must make an appointment with the U.S. Embassy in their country for an interview to receive a student visa. The I-20 must be presented at this appointment.
Student Account Created
Personalized logins and passwords for Regent online accounts will be sent to you after your Enrollment Deposit has been received. Submitting the Enrollment Deposit online will expedite this process.
The creation of your student account means that you now have access to all student systems, your personal Regent email is created, and IT (Information Technology) Department emails you secure passwords and log-ins you will be using while at Regent.

New Student Orientation Course
View the following Blackboard™ tutorial: How to Login and Navigate Through Bb. When finished viewing the tutorial, login to Blackboard to access the resources featured below. Your Blackboard login and password will be sent to you after your Enrollment Deposit has been received.
(Masters students only) Work through Divinity New Student Orientation course in Blackboard™. You will receive a confirmation email when you have access to this course (after your enrollment deposit is received). This course covers:
- How to register, select courses, and pay your tuition bill
- Where to find your course syllabi and order textbooks
- Financial aid information
- Information on student housing, student IDs, parking, etc.
(Doctoral students only) Work through the New Students section of your Divinity D.Min. or Ph.D. Resources site in Blackboard™. You will have access to Blackboard™ after your enrollment deposit is received. For questions, contact your program representative.
Register for Classes
After finishing the Orientation you can register for classes yourself or seek advising from Registration & Advising Office regarding the classes to take in your first semester.
