Call for Papers
Regent University's Center for Renewal Studies (CRS) seeks to provide venues that foster mutual dialogue among scholars, professionals, and the broader public on the renewing work of the Holy Spirit. Toward this end, CRS is hosting a conference in March 1-2, 2013, that seeks to promote research on the renewing work of the Holy Spirit as that has unfolded across the Christian tradition and as that has implications and applications to Christian life.
The CRS is now receiving proposals on these themes in relationship to:
- charisms and the charismatic in the church and in the world
- the role of emotions, the affections, and the passions in religious experience
- emotions, affections, and passions and the relationship between crisis and process in Christian formation
- the experience of love and desire in human nature
- the Spirit as source of renewal, revival, and revitalization in the church today
Proposals should include a title, an abstract of no more than 300 words, and a one page curriculum vitae of the author, and be submitted by clicking here no later than December 1, 2012.
Details concerning registration and accommodations will be posted on this page soon. In the meanwhile, if there are any questions, click here.
