School of Divinity Study Tour of Turkey & Cyprus

Join Regent University's School of Divinity on a 15-day journey through Turkey and Cyprus where you'll have the opportunity to travel with Regent School of Divinity Visiting Professor Dr. Mark Wilson, a leading biblical scholar on Jesus and the early church.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime study tour and spiritual adventure that will take you to significant biblical sites in Cyprus and Turkey. This trip is open to Regent University students, alumni, staff and faculty as well as family and friends of Regent University and CBN.

Deadline: An immediate deposit of $200 per person ensures a place on the trip. The deposit is refundable up to January 1, 2013. The registration deadline is December 1, 2012. Final payment is required by January 14, 2013.

Price includes:

  • Fifteen nights in four and five star hotels
  • Half-board meals that include breakfast and dinner (2 dinners at restaurants)
  • Group airport transfer to the hotel at arrival and departure in Istanbul
  • All entrance fees to the sites and museums on the itinerary
  • Services of professional English-speaking and biblically-oriented licensed guides
  • All tours and transfers by private, air-conditioned buses
  • All tips and gratuities to tour guides, drivers and hotel staff
  • Special visit to the Cave Church of Paul & Thecla in Ephesus

Price does not include:

  • Airline Flights. Round–trip airline flights from your airport of departure to Istanbul are not included in the cost. Travel insurance is recommended if luggage is lost or flights are cancelled.   • Valid Passport for at least 6 months before departure & $20 Turkish visa fee. Upon arrival in Istanbul, American or Canadian citizens must pay a $20 visa fee before passing through passport control. However, if your citizenship is not American, you must consult your consulate regarding visa requirements for entry to Turkey. Do not register for the trip until you know your visa status! It is the traveler's responsibility to have all necessary documentation in his/her possession before departure. If you do not have a passport or need to renew it, apply immediately because it may take months to obtain it.

  • Lunches are the responsibility of each participant

  • Personal extras. Such as phone calls, laundry or valet service, beverages, wine, tea, coffee, mineral water. Porterage of luggage, baggage insurance, and excess baggage.

  • Any other items not specifically mentioned as included.

1) Students may register for three credit hours for this study tour at the cost of a two-credit course (in addition to the basic trip cost).

3) In case of an emergency and the leader Dr. Mark Wilson is unable to continue with the tour, Dr. Michael Palmer will take over the tour and work with the tour guide to complete the tour.
