Five Lectures in Renewal Studies for 2011-2012 Academic Year

October 17 & 18, 2008

Regent University School of Divinity offers the PhD in Renewal Studies, the only terminal research degree of its kind in North America. The field of Renewal Studies covers the broad spectrum of pentecostal, charismatic, and related revitalization movements going back through Christian history and even into ancient Israel. The program thus understands Renewal Studies technically as a methodological approach that invites a range of hermeneutical, historiographical, and theological perspectives informed by charismatic experiences. These special lectures in Renewal Studies sponsored by the School of Divinity for the academic year 2011-2012 feature prominent and world-renowned scholars who will interact with and engage topics in the field of Renewal Studies from a wide range of disciplinary vantage points. Put these dates on your calendars today and plan on being present for these stimulating lectures and the discussions to follow! All public lectures are free and open to the public.
