Shiflett Endowed Scholarship
The School of Divinity is pleased to announce the Shiflett Endowed Scholarship, established in 2007 by Laura Shiflett to honor her husband, the late Rev. Bill B. Shiflett. This scholarship covers up to 100% of tuition costs for the academic year, and will be awarded annually (with the possibility of renewal). Eligible candidates for this award must be currently enrolled full-time in the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) program, and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 in their graduate work, including any graduate work taken at other institutions prior to enrolling at Regent University.
Church and Seminary Matching Grant
The School of Divinity recognizes the Church’s role in the development of church leadership. To foster this relationship, we created the Church and Seminary Matching Grant as a means for churches and ministries to invest in the ministry training of its members. A church, denomination, or ministry organization can invest in a student’s tuition, and the School of Divinity will match it dollar-for-dollar up to 20 percent of the total tuition costs, not to exceed $2,890 annually. Any funds received over 20 percent are applied directly to the student’s tuition account, unmatched. (example matching grant scenario)
The Church and Seminary Matching Grant is available to both part-time and full-time students who are supported by churches and ministry organizations. Additional details are available on the Church and Seminary Matching Grant Participation Form [PDF].
