Helping women find freedom and healing from addiction

Along with her husband, Holly founded Albermarle Teen Challenge in Elizabeth City, N.C. Through a Christ-centered approach, this drug and alcohol rehabilitation center focuses on helping women become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well and spiritually alive. This residential program, lasting between 12-18 months, empowers women, by the healing power of the Spirit and community, to escape the grip of addiction and become not only productive members of society but also participants in the life of the Kingdom of God.

As the executive director of this Teen Challenge ministry, Holly is constantly tasked with getting her hands dirty in crisis intervention, doing personal and family counseling and keeping the practices of the ministry in step with its vision and mission. She believes that, through the Spirit, the women in the program can experience the power of the forgiveness, inner healing and restoration that only Christ can offer.
