Welcome to the School of Divinity!

Photograph: Dr. Amos YongWe live in unprecedented times. The world is driven by change. Knowledge is now doubling annually. The center of Christianity is now outside the Euro-American West, and the forms of the church also now look, sound, and feel very different. As a university, our mission is to prepare Christian leaders who will be effective instruments to transform individuals, families, communities and nations around such a world. You may be one of those leaders.

As a multidenominational divinity school, we stand apart from other seminaries through the strength and diversity of our distinguished faculty and students who come from many church families and traditions. Our course of study is biblically based, Christ-centered, and open to the renewing work of the Holy Spirit. We have forged new paths in providing accredited non-traditional program formats that allow our students to pursue their degree while remaining in their ministry context. Our graduates are at work passionately around the world ministering in churches, the marketplace, the public square, and other domains. They are actively bringing perspectives derived from the renewing work of the Spirit to bear on scholarly endeavors that engage academia at the highest level. And they are innovative and creative thinkers and leaders capable of anticipating, entering into, and engaging faithfully as Christ-followers with an uncertain future. We are committed in all we do to pursuing the mind of Christ, embracing the power of the Spirit for the work of our hands, and seeking after the heart of God for the world.

As you think about your path in higher education, we invite you to consider the Regent University School of Divinity.
