The first
step to purchasing the books and course materials needed
for your classes is to review the course syllabi for your
respective courses or visit the Regent
University Bookstore website where the textbooks are
listed by course. Syllabi are typically available two weeks
prior to the beginning of the semester and are available
in Blackboard.
Once you have a list of books and course materials, you
are ready to go shopping...
On-Campus
Students
Visit the Regent
University Bookstore located in the Student Center.
(Click
here for a map and hours.)
Online Students
Online students may also order textbooks via the Internet
through the Regent
University Bookstore, or by calling (757) 352.4064.
The bookstore accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card,
American Express and personal checks.
Shipping
All in-stock textbooks will be shipped within 24 hours
after an order has been received. Special order items
will take approximately 12 to 15 business days for
delivery. Books will be shipped via United Parcel Service
(UPS) for United States customers. International orders
will be shipped via UPS International. Shipping charges
will be CONFIRMED PRIOR TO SHIPMENT on International
Orders.
Returns
Regent University
Bookstore allows customers to return merchandise that is
in new, salable condition for a full refund or exchange.
This cash or exchange return privilege will be offered
when accompanied by a valid, dated cash register receipt,
and in compliance with other posted refund conditions.
Textbook returns will be accepted for
15 calendar days from the opening day of classes during
regular terms. During summer school or other short terms,
such as alternate or interim sessions or seminars, returns
will be accepted one day or week from the date of purchase,
as appropriate to the term.
Other merchandise will be accepted for
return when the merchandise is in clean, resalable condition
and purchased within the previous ten calendar days. Computer
software and diskettes must be in their original unopened
package.
Buybacks
Receive
up to 50 percent on books needed for the upcoming semester,
as long as we have not already obtained the quantity
we need.
Except for the two weeks
of "rush" period during school start up, the bookstore
does what is called a wholesale buyback. Wholesalers needing
certain titles offer a price for desirable books. The buybacks
are driven by market demand.
Another available option
is Barnes
and Noble's Online Buyback Center.
Alternative Methods
Many of our students are able to find the textbooks they
need at discounted prices from alternate sites. This list
is provided as a service to students who wish to try to
obtain their materials from outside distributors. The School
of Psychology & Counseling does not endorse one site
over another, nor do we guarantee that materials needed
for your studies will be available through these sites.
