Graduation - FAQ
- Can I walk in spring commencement if I have not completed all of my courses?
- As an alum, can I come back and take the additional nine credit hours for school counseling or other work that I need?
Yes, you can walk in spring commencement if you have no more than two summer courses to complete. If you have more than two courses to complete, you may fill out an academic petition. If not approved, you will have to wait until the following spring to walk in commencement.
As an alum, you can take courses under the professional development program or as a non-degree learner. You will have to apply through our admissions office so you can be put in to the computer system and have access rights as a student. We give our alumni a straight 15 percent discount on any courses that they take with us. This applies to tuition only. It does not cover books, insurance, student fees or any other item assessed to you through the business office.
