Career Services
Career services are provided at the
Psychological Services Center, as well as, the Career Resource Center -
located in the Student Services Building. Career counseling and
consultation services were formalized in October 2006 with the inception
of the Career Resource Center. With the objective of offering direction
and guidance in the career decision-making process, the Career Resource
Center is staffed by doctoral and master's students in the School of
Psychology.
While career counseling is a comprehensive process that
incorporates personal history, values, and abilities, many people find
that 2-3 career consultation sessions can assist with the
decision-making process. Career consultants offer assessment, referral,
in-person and distance consultations, and support for the career
directors within each school at the university.
