Assessment Services
The process of an assessment includes a clinical interview, the incorporation
of any relevant background information, and the completion of specifically
selected test materials. Once an assessment or battery (several tests administered
to address a particular area in question) is completed, a report is provided
with summary information and recommendations for follow up (if indicated).
Once a client has completed the intake and is referred for assessment services,
the types of tests will be identified to match the issue of concern. Once the
test or battery of tests are completed, the therapist writes a psychological
report and provides feedback to the client. Current assessment services include
psychological, intelligence, personality, career, interest/values, and spiritual
development testing. Assessments can be done as a primary service or in conjunction
with individual, couple, family, or group therapy.
