Don't
- use your electronic portfolio as
a personal Web page that includes information other
than professional and academic material.

format.
- place your home address, phone number,
non-college e-mail address (unless you wish to be contacted
in those venues).

contact information (address, phone, e-mail) unless
permission is given.

files, or the like of any sort from other sources,
without checking the conditions of usage or license
agreements.
Do:
- put your email or a link to contact
you on every page review whether your text,
background, images, etc. make the page hard to read.
- put your last date of revision
so viewers can ascertain current status
- test your links before you post
them
- edit everything with a critical
eye, do not just rely on spelling and grammar checks
via the computer
- view your portfolio using more
than one browser to ensure it is readable in both Explorer
and Netscape.
- have a peer review your portfolio
