MMate Center offers new Hope Couples Counseling Series

Earn continuing education hours online through the newest editions to the SPC Continuing Education courses.

The Hope focused approach to couples counseling is presented in a lecture and clinical video demonstrations from Everett L. Worthington, Jr., Ph.D. and Jennifer S. Ripley, Ph.D.  with an accompanying training manual by Jennifer S. Ripley, Ph.D., Edward Davis, M.A., Cynthia Quigley and Everett L., Worthington, Jr.  This training offers in depth training in the theory and application of the Hope approach with special emphasis on forgiveness in couples counseling.

Trauma Training Summer Deployment

What: Counseling opportunity through Thrive Africa, a Christian organization dedicated to equipping South Africans with Godly truth

When: July 16th – July 30th

Where: Johannesburg, South Africa

Team members will operate as a mobile clinic taking trauma counseling into the villages, prisons, hospitals, and IDP camps in the area. They will also encourage the overburdened workers in the area and provide training seminars to teachers in the local school districts so that they can take an active role in restoring their communities.
