The Marriage ministry assessment training and empowerment (MMATE) center

The MMate Center is located in the Psychology Department of the School of Psychology & Counseling and was established with the goal of supporting marriage ministries.

The Marriage Ministry Assessment Training and Empowerment (MMATE) Center's mission is to support and empower marriage ministries.  Our vision is to encourage the Church in the implementation of effective, biblical, programs tailored to the needs of their community.

The Center is directed by Jennifer Ripley, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Psychology.  It involves a team of doctoral students who are involved in developing support for the local church's efforts in marriage ministry.

The Center's website with information for ministers, lay-leaders, and couples is found at:

This Center was approved by the Academic Council of Regent University in the Spring of 2004.
