This application must be completed in the
Spring of each year by May 1 for all returning students who
are receiving need-based assistance from the School of Psychology
and Counseling. Returning students include any student
who is not a first semester student in the School of Psychology
and Counseling. New students and first-time applicants
must complete the long-form financial aid application available
from the admissions office. Need-based financial assistance
( SPC Continuing Assistance Award) from the school must be
applied for annually using this form. All merit-based
funds are automatically renewed if the recipient maintains
the required Grade Point Average - GPA (3.5 for Master's students,
3.75 for Doctoral students). Cumulative GPAs are reviewed
at the end of each semester. Students who were receiving
merit awards who do not meet the requirements to keep those
awards may apply for need-based assistance by completing this
form.
