School of Psychology & Counseling

Site List and Instructions

A Community Practicum is an exciting experience where students can begin developing the skills that will impact the rest of your career in mental health.

A School Practicum is an exciting and unique experience that is distinctly different from community counseling. For this reason, we recommend that Dual Track (Community/School) students attempt a school practicum if possible.

The site list below provides you with placement options in a variety of school and community settings. The list is not comprehensive and you are welcome to look for other sites. If you find a site not on this list, it must go through a verification process done by the Field Placement Liaison and Counseling Clinical Coordinator prior to entering into a contractual relationship.

Identifying and interviewing with sites can take months so start early! At the same time, open your mind to a variety of experiences. As you know, God has a way of working everything out for his glory!

Please feel free to view the following Practicum Panel Discussion to hear first hand experiences from past Regent students.
