Cultural Diversity Luncheon Series -
The Cultural Diversity Lunch Series is an initiative that's designed
to promote cultural awareness, student professional development,
and spiritual integration. This series facilitates community partnerships
with Regent University staff and students.
PsyD. Colloquia Series -
The Psy.D. Colloquium series brings outstanding professionals and
scientists in psychology and related fields to Regent University.
The past speakers have addressed a wide range of topics, from marital
work with difficult couples to evolving roles for psychology
in health care.
Professional Development Series - The Professional Development
Series provides leading edge instruction and information
on various topics within the mental health field. With
current research and clinical trends in mind, outstanding
professionals examine issues including, but not limited
to, ethical practices, clinical interventions and brief
counseling strategies, sexual identity, and substance abuse
and dual diagnosis.
Spiritual Integration Series - The Spiritual Integration
Series provides studies in the area of spirituality and mental
health. With sound integration and ethical clinical practice in
mind, preeminent professionals discuss topics from faith-based
interventions to collaborating with faith professionals within
our communities. Through the review of traditional and current
literature, this series examines the role of faith and spirituality
in counseling and psychology.
