In the School of Psychology & Counseling,
our programs integrate scholarly and rigorous academic
training within a Christian worldview to produce highly
trained counselors and clinical psychologists. The curriculum
is established to meet national accrediting standards
and state licensure. For the PhD - CES program, our degree
requirements are as follows:
- Successful completion of all practica
and internships
- Successful completion of all Competency
Based Probes
- A grade of B- or better in all courses
- Completion of an approved dissertation
and successful defense of that dissertation
- Successful admission to the Doctoral
Candidacy program after two years of coursework.
- Pass the Doctoral Comprehensive
Examination
- Satisfactory annual review by the
faculty
- Successful completion of the Library
research course
