The graduate
program in Human Services Counseling is designed to equip
individuals with valuable counseling skills for use in
ministry, missions, or any other vocation where those
skills are essential, but a license is not. In today's
fast-paced, instant everything society with rapidly developing
technology and ever increasing opportunities, the incidence
of stress and burn-out, anxiety, depression, and other
mental health related issues is on the rise. Children
and adults alike are affected by the non-stop, high demand
mentality of the educational and corporate arenas.
Society has been looking more and more closely at the Church as a source of healing and restoration for the everyday effects of stress, trauma, and loss. In turn, the Church has found the necessity for more in-depth training in the mental health disciplines. The need for well trained mental health professionals with a solid foundation of faith in Jesus Christ has never been more prevalent than today...
