..... Society has been looking more and more closely at the Church as a source of healing and restoration for the everyday effects of stress, trauma, and loss. In turn, the Church has found the necessity for more in-depth training in the mental health disciplines. The need for well trained mental health professionals with a solid foundation of faith in Jesus Christ has never been more prevalent than today.
Our goal at the School of Psychology & Counseling, is to provide the churches, school systems, businesses, local governments, and communities with high quality professionals in the field of counseling. As we instill world-class professional attributes in the students that come to us, we also seek to integrate faith and practice into a deeply foundational, well rounded program. In order to help meet the different counseling needs of schools, communities and churches, we offer two types of Master's degrees: the Master of Arts in Counseling (clinical in nature and licensure oriented) and the Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling (non-clinical and designed for use in the Church, non-profit, and ministry settings, among others).
If professional counselor training with
sound Biblical integration interests you, please contact
us. We will try to answer all of your questions clearly
and completely. Our
staff and faculty are available to help you tailor a program
that fits your needs and schedule. In addition, you may
contact me directly for questions regarding the program
objectives and outcomes.
