girardDale Girard

Dale is a Certified Fight Master with the SAFD and FDC. He is also co-founder of the North Carolina Stuntmen’s Association; author of Actors on Guard; and director of Stage Combat Studies for North Carolina School of the Arts.

Dale appears in the role of Sankur and served as second unit director and stunt coordinator for the film Eyeborgs to be released fall of 2008.

Richard has been cinematographer and director on numerous features and worked with such talents as Russell Crowe, Viggo Mortensen, Christopher
Walken, Ben Affleck and Peter O’Toole.

He was director of the feature films Python, Little Chicago and the upcoming sci-fi action film Eyeborgs.

He is an instructor at the North Carolina School of the Arts, School of Filmmaking and president of Crimson Wolf Pictures, a North Carolina based feature film production company.



coyleChuck Coyl
Chuck is a Certified Fight Master and is the immediate past president of the SAFD. He serves on the faculty of the Actor’s Gymnasium and Roosevelt University.

His work has appeared on the stages of the Actor’s Theatre of Louisville, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, and the Dallas Theatre Center among many others. He is a founding member of the Single Action Theatre Company. Chuck appears a DHS Agent Koil in the film Eyeborgs.


westlyRobert Westley
Robert is an SAFD Certified Teacher and fight director who is also managing director and co-founder of GoodFoot Movement Productions.

Robert presently serves as the head of movement at Hofstra University and has performed, directed, choreographed movement, and staged violence for theatres, opera houses, and film companies across the country. Robert appears as DHS Agent Watson in the film Eyeborgs


bellTim Bell
Tim is an SAFD Certified Teacher and a professional actor and stuntman.

Tim has been performing, teaching, and choreographing stage combat for more than ten years. He has performed as an actor and stuntman for TV and film live stunt shows, and outdoor dramas. Tim appears as DHS Agent Sanchez and served as assistant stunt coordinator on the film Eyeborgs.


chinMichael Chin
SAFD Fight Master and coordinator for the SAFD’s National Stage Combat Workshop: Mr. Chin is a student of Northern Shaolin Long Fist King Fu; Full Partner: Fights4 in NYC.

Michael is recognized as a Fight Master, Fight Director and Certified Teacher with the Society of American Fight Directors.

He served as Fight Coordinator on Broadway for the internationally acclaimed hit show "Festen". Locally, he has taught/choreographed/consulted in NYC for Pan Asian Repertory, Murder-To-Go, Theatreworks USA, La Mama ETC, National Asian American Theatre Co, The Public, The Vineyard, Henry Street Settlement, The Drama League, Classical Theatre of Harlem/Harlem School of The Arts, New York Renaissance Festival, White Horse, Julliard, NYU, Montclair State Univ, Pace University, and Brooklyn College. Nationally he has worked at The Barter (VA), Celebration Barn (ME), Burt Reynolds Institute for Theatre (FL),University of Tulsa (OK), The Crossroads (NJ), Brown University (RI), Cape Cod Community College (MA), The Hangar (NY), Dickinson College (PA), Louisiana Tech (LA), NY State Theatre Inst. (NY), Tennesee Rep (TN), Merrimack Theatre (MA), Muhlenberg Summer Festival (PA), Yale School of Drama (CT) and The Havana Theatre Festival (Cuba). Mr. Chin is a student of Northern Style Shaolin Long Fist Kung Fu and currently is on adjunct faculty at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. and the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in NYC. In 2005 he won the Outstanding Fight Direction Award from the New York Theatre Fringe Festival for his work on "The Lizards".


Michael Kirkland
SAFD Certified Teacher; Instructor of stage combat: Regent University; Guest teacher: FADA and BSAD; Choreographer: Houston Grand Opera, Houston Shakespeare Festival, Pa. Stage Co.

Michael Kirkland (Associate Professor & Chair, Dept. of Theatre Arts, Regent University) teaches acting, directing, movement, and stage combat. He has a B.A. (Cal. State Fullerton), M.F.A. in Acting/Directing (Univ. of Southern Miss.), and Ph.D. Univ. of Utah). He is the former team captain for Salle du' Grenadiers (1983 USFL Pacific Coast Sabre Team Champions) has taught combat for Houston Grand Opera Studio, Univ. of Michigan, Univ. of Southern Miss., Univ. of Utah, Kutztown University, and Regent University. He has guest/team taught at RADA (London) and Birmingham School of Acting, Birmingham, England. He received the SAFD's Best Advanced Actor-Combatant & Fight Scene Awards (1990 NSCW). Selected fight direction venues: Houston Grand Opera, Houston Shakespeare, Univ. of Utah, Univ. of Oklahoma, Millsaps College, New Stage Theatre, Washington & Lee Univ., Capitol City Playhouse; Muhlenberg Summer Musicals; & PA Stage Company. Michael lives in Chesapeake with his w ife & two daughters.


lloyd Gregg Lloyd
Gregg is an SAFD Certified Teacher. As a professional actor and fight director, Gregg has worked around the country from Chicago to Dallas in all types of venues including regional theaters, rep companies, amusement parks, and Medieval Times.

He currently serves as professor of acting and stage combat at Christopher Newport University in Virginia.
