- “Take a
Prof to Lunch” continues. If you’d like to take a professor
to lunch, please shoot off an email to Suzanne with the reason
you’d like to have one on one time with a prof. We’ll choose at
least one a month for this semester.

Registration: Students have lost access to GENISYS
registration. BUT, the opportunity to add and drop classes with
no penalty continues until January 20. Get in touch with Diane
or Suzanne if you wish to add or drop a class.
- Comp Exams:
Spring “Comps” week is February 13 – 20. Mark your calendar for
the “How to Prepare for Comps” info session on January 24 at
noon, COM 152.

Doctoral
Students: Dr. Brown and Dr. Fraser will be conducting a
workshop on the dissertation process on Thursday, January 26,
4:30 – 6:30 pm. If you are beginning the dissertation stage,
this is a must attend for you. We anticipate streaming this for
distance students. More information will be forthcoming from
Diane.
- THEATRE
The third year MFA Acting students are in New York this week
performing their showcase for casting directors and agents.
Please keep them in your prayers. The Theatre Department also
wishes to thank the Comm/Arts School for their support and
encouragement throughout this process.

Services Coordinator
We are happy to announce that we
now have a staff person devoted entirely to serving you!
Many of you have had contact with Dawn as you’ve gone through
the admissions process and now you will continue to look to her
for assistance as you navigate the administrative side of your
degree.
Dawn will serve as your point
of contact for questions about processes and procedures. If you
ask “how do I…….” or “what do I need to …….” then Dawn is the
person to contact. She will be able to assist you with
registration issues, petitions,
grade change, change of advisor, change of
program, degree program etc. Additionally,
Dawn and Lisa Hagen will be working together to bring you
information about career services and internships.

announces its new student leaders for the Spring Semester.

showcase their work to friends, family, and potential

REGENT ROARING LAMBS
Regent's Roaring Lambs invites you to come together for
prayer, fellowship, and a media related Bible study as we
prepare to be salt and light through our career calling. We
meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month in Room 322 on
the third floor of the Communication Building from noon to
1:25PM. Bring your lunch, bring a friend, and most of all
bring a desire to use media to influence society with God's
love. Thursday, January 12th we will be discussing "Getting
past ego to reach understanding." For more information
