Marianne Savell, MFA
Marianne Savell is an Assistant Professor at Regent University, specializing in acting, directing and Shakespeare. She is a member of Actors Equity and SAG/AFTRA.
Marianne received her MFA in Acting at the Professional Actor Training Program at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where she graduated with highest honors and was a Guest Artist at the Central School of Speech and Drama, London. She is an alumnus and participant of Directors Lab West, an associate artist with Taproot Theatre Company in Seattle and served on the Advisory Board of Provision Theater Company in Chicago. In 2008 Marianne was invited to the prestigious New Harmony Project to direct Margaret Hunt's new play AND THE RAVENS FEED US. Marianne served as the Producing Director of Actors Co-op theatre company in Hollywood, CA. She is an award winning actor and director and continues to work professionally all over the country.
To instill a passion for story in her students that inspires them to sacrifice themselves to the work that excellent storytelling demands. All that to serve God and love others in their lives and in the work of the artist.
