Dr. Norman Mintle is the associate dean of academics and an assistant professor who teaches in both the Department of Cinema-Television and Department of Communication Studies at Regent University. He specializes in media production and leadership.

Dr. Mintle holds 30 years experience as an award-winning media producer who has worked for network affiliates of ABC and CBS. He has also served as vice president for programming, marketing and special events at the Christian Broadcasting Network, and as the executive vice president and chief operating officer at the Total Living Network based in Chicago, Ill.. At Regent, Dr. Mintle teaches courses on leadership issues in media, producing for the 21st century and Christians in the digital age.

Academic Philosophy

For students to find the most effective combination of theory and application in their discipline, informed by a clear understanding of target audiences and the technological advances that influence all that they do.
