Cinema-Television

Regent University's department of Cinema-Television (CTV) exists to reclaim the power of "Story" to weave Christian values and enduring truths in infinitely fresh and relevant ways—using consummate craftsmanship and artistry to inspire, teach and entertain millions around the world.

The Cinema-Television major will prepare students to enter the entertainment industries with the necessary skills to produce, write, direct and/or edit. Students will be qualified to work in feature film, broadcast television, corporate video, church media departments, along with interactive formats like mobile and Internet video.

To make a difference in our world today—to impart ideas and parables to the people—we must become exquisite cinematic storytellers. We must continue to pass along wisdom and wonder infused with the Light to those with eyes to see and ears to hear.

Regent has one of the best state of the art facilities in the east coast providing its students with hands on real world experience that makes them competitive in the industry. Its student films have won over 150 national and international awards including two Emmy's.
