There are 4 different kinds of Internships. They are as follows:

Description: |
1. DAY INTERNS
This opportunity is ideal if you are already located in one of our main
office cities and are interested in volunteering full time or part time
(days or evenings) to work alongside our marketing team.
2. REMOTE INTERNS
Remote interns are able to collaborate on the highest level in the promotion
of Bella from home. Once accepted to the Bella Team, you will be involved
with:
1. Monthly conference call with Lead Actor, Senior Producer, or Marketing Director
2. Weekly conference call with your Core Team Leader
3. Weekly work assignments, tailored to your availability, such as: call
lists, excel spreadsheet updates, research requests, tasks etc. You will
receive these every Friday from your Team Leader.
4. Outside events in your local area, promoting Bella DVD sales!
3. RELOCATING INTERNS
Housing is provided for interns accepted to the Miami, Florida, Full-Time
(40 hours a week with occasional overtime) Internships. Interns must be
available for the entire duration of the program which ends June 31st, 2008.
A small stipend is included for food. The flight to Miami is not included.

Departments are encouraged to assign a mentor to each intern to oversee the internship experience. Ideally this mentor would not be the intern’s supervisor. Recommended mentor activities include: Invite the intern to attend departmental meetings when possible. Evaluate and discuss progress, concerns and observations. Introduce interns to ESPN department heads as time permits. Encourage and help intern to network and make contacts within ESPN. Allow time for the intern to speak with others in the department to learn the operation and how departments interact. Coach interns on skill development and professional conduct.

It is not necessary for applicants to be majoring in journalism, but that is desirable. Interns must have their own vehicles. We are a drug free workplace.
