ALUMNI RECEPTION
October 27th, 2006 is the
CommArts Alumni Dessert Reception and
Film Screening. The
reception will take place on the second
floor balcony of the COM building
(overlooking our beautiful theatre
lobby) from 7:00 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.,
followed by a screening of alumni short
films in Screening Room A.

PAST
EVENTS:
The School
of Communication hosted a local alumni-only
event in the new Communication building on
Saturday, December 6, 2003. Our new
state-of-the-art television studio was
transformed into Christmas wonderland with
an "It's a Wonderful Life" holiday theme.
Approximately 90 alumni and family members
joined us for a joyous night of fellowship.
Professor Andrew Freeman was the evening
emcee, and Dean Peter Engel, former creator
and executive producer for "Saved by the
Bell," offered some brief remarks on the
latest and greatest in the School of
Communication. It was a pleasure to see so
many alumni back on campus connecting with
each other and their alma mater!"

honor Outstanding Alumnus 2003, Kenny
Jackson."
"Associate Dean Bob Schihl reconnects with
alumni."
"Christmas Decorations adorned two student
television show sets."
"Dean Peter Engel addresses the alumni
group on his vision for the School of

to the Regent Christmas Ball after the
Alumni Event."
